We Are American Africans

Haiti, Brazil, Cuba, Jamaica, Trinidad, Tobago, North America, Panama, Mexico, Puerto Rico

This symbol is an Akan adinkra and it symbolizes unity. It literally means “We all share the same stomach”.

WHAT KIND OF AFRICAN ARE YOU?

Some of our people feel we are not Africans and THEY even DETEST AFRICANS They’ll go so far as to say they hate those various African tribes whom “I see” as MY ANCESTORS and they openly hate my ancestral culture(s).

Can I trust a brotha like that?

Of course not, but the only difference between the various Blacks in the Western Hemisphere of our small planet is “a boat stop”…

It’s a must that we connect with our Haitian Africans, Brazilian Africans, Cuban Africans, Jamaican Africans, Trinidadian Africans, Tobago Africans, Panamanian Africans, Mexican Africans, and our Puerto Rican Africans.
